You should have heard the griping when the Latin mass was approved! I had a woman (who is an extraordinary minister of communion, by the way) tell me that if Latin was brought back she would go to a different parish.

Well, let her. I was at a Latin Novus Ordo mass at a monastery the other day (there aren't very many where I live, so this was unusual) and the church was full, particularly with young people. This was the new form, mind you, but in Latin, which actually makes it much better than the vernacular form because, if nothing else, the priest can't improvise!

This lady is not going to be able to flee for long, and in addition, I'd bet that wherever she goes is going to be in Latin within the next 5 years or so. But she won't be an EEM, and that's what's really the problem in her mind.
