That is true but I emailed him and I ask what I could add to his guide line and that is one of the things I added. I never said that the guidelines were from the RM. But if you want to post abunch of links feel free to do so but I would not count on anyone checking them out.
FYI, these links have Scripture in them too.
The Early Church Fathers on Apostolic Succession - Catholic/Orthodox Caucus
The Early Church Fathers on The Primacy of Peter/Rome (Catholic/Orthodox Caucus)
Surely people will check out only TWO references.
Why should a whole bunch of posts argue against a point that has already been presented? In the two samples I gave, the Catholic viewpoint is presented. I do not find that reprehensible at all, but rather a vehicle to educating Protestants about Catholic beliefs.
You know that Catholics suffer through long posts of Scriptrue from various posters, offering our Catholic point of view, but never putting the Scripture down. Many Protestants have been educated in their churches in such a way so that some view the Catholic Church as evil. That just isn't true.
Therefore in offering links where the subject has been discussed, defined, and discussed some more I judge as being totally honorable. Your initial post, to me, made me think that posting links was NOT an honorable thing to do.
It doesn't really matter if you read the links or not. The information is put forth in brotherly correction. And you and I both know that at the moment of our death we will have to answer for the times we did not offer that brotherly correction.
