King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday night, August 25 at a peaceful prayer vigil near the new Planned Parenthood Clinic in Stapleton. I talked to a friend after morning Mass today, and she is volunteering for the GOP convention in St. Paul. There will be a welcoming Holy Mass on Sunday evening for the delegates at the St. Paul Cathedral. She is helping with this effort.

Her excitement is great. She has heard that a group of “Catholics for McCain” may be invited to the Monday and Thursday evening events. She is hoping to be one of them, as she is active in GOP politics.
