"The Catholic Church is a Pro-Life Church."It's something.
"San Francisco church spokesman Maurice Healy told Whispers earlier today that Archbishop George Niederauer would publish his response to Pelosi in a Friday column for the archdiocesan weekly, Catholic San Francisco."
Still more .. ping!
I hope he excommunicates her.
LOL
She has excommunicated herself. From God. Whether Church leaders choose to do so officially is a formality.
I wonder if the Pope is, well, twisting arms . . .
Look forward to 6 paragraphs on social justice and 1 on the sactity of human life. The USCCB is composed of bishops who refuse to teach Church doctrine, refuse to speak out about abortion loving politicians, and fear that any statement they make will lower their collections. The Vatican, at least, is improving in its stand against evil. The USCCB is barely Catholic. Don’t look forward to the San Francisco shepard annoying his flock with too strong an anti-abortion statement. It will be bland and non-confrontational. If they had any nerve, Pelosi, Biden, Kennedy, Kerry, Moran, Kaine and the endless list of NARAL sponsored Catholics would not be welcome to communion.
When ever anyone receives the Eucharist in the state of sin, they have an ex-officio excommunication. Publicly supporting the freedom to choose to kill the unborn is a sin; hence, she is already excommunicated and only compounds her sins in the face of God and the Church. Eternity is a very, very long time and God is watching.
These politicians either do not believe in the real presence, and therefore should not present themselves for communion, or are purposefully committing a sacrilege against the body of Christ. They will receive their just reward but so will those who did not defend Him.
“Communion” means being one with the Church and God's people of the Church along with the angles and saints. Saying “amen” is an oath that one is in communion with the Church and agrees to its articles of faith. Whomever was responsible for catechizing Nancy Pelosi was probably busy preaching liberation theology—the parent of Rev. Wright's “black theology.”
This is turning into an interesting election cycle.
SF has already condemned the Church:
Resolution 168-08— San Francisco city and county board resolution that officially labeled the Catholic church’s moral teachings as “insulting to all San Franciscans,” “hateful,” “defamatory,” “insensitive” and “ignorant” —and was unanimously passed.
I say unleash the hounds.
I’m checking the various diocese web sites to see who has the story linked.
I’ll post the list later.
If the RCC amounted to a hill of beans they would excommunicate her and every dim pol that stands for abortion. But they don’t and they won’t.
Like a slap on the wrist with a wet noodle. But it's better than nothing, I suppose.
These diocese have a link to the USCCB or other announcement regarding Pelosi’s heresy.

That’s all so far, it’s time to go. =^..^=
So we have seven bishops with some desire to teach instead of collect money from liberals.
Resolution 168-08 was an official response to the Catholic Church’s ban on adoption placements into homosexual couple households, issued by Cardinal William Levada of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith at the Vatican.
Catholic Charities are now closing...
You forgot the wonderful statement, published on the archdiocesan website, of the Archbishop of New York. As well, the Archbishop of Washington also has his statement on the archdiocesan website, although his statement is extremely weak.
sitetest
The Catholic Church, whether it knows it or not, is engaged in a terrible battle with the forces of darkness in California, especially in Pelosi’s backyard, San Francisco. SF has made it abundantly clear that Christian theology is “hate-speech”, any conscientious dissent is “discrimination” and anyone who supports traditional marriage is a “bigot”.
This election, Obama’s support for infanticide, and Pelosi’s statement on human life, may well be the flash point for a great spiritual war....
I pray for America.
Isn't it! Who could ever have imagined that an 'off the cuff' remark by Pelosi on an innocuous tv interview, would generate such a backlash of sentiments against her and her party! Stay tuned ... there's plenty more to come.
