"For where two or three have gathered together in My name" Matt 18:20 (Non-Denominational Devotional/Prayer)
Posted by svcw For some time, through FReepmail, several FReepers have provided each other with a way to share prayer requests and praises. Now that the Non-denominational category has been established, we are offering a weekly thread in which posts of your requests and praises are welcome. Anyone, regardless of denomination, is welcome to bring their concerns here. The one thing that we hope to establish here, is that at a set time on Sunday evening, 11:00 p.m. in the Eastern time zone, 10:00 p.m. Central time, 9:00 p.m. Mountain time, and 8:00 p.m. Pacific time, we will as a group, lift these concerns up in prayer. Individual prayer at any time is, of course, encouraged. If anyone desires to post an "anonymous" request, just word it in a manner such as: " Please lift up my prayer (or praise) for a personal concern."
He has promised to be in our midst tonight as we gather wherever we may be, as a voice in one accord to praise Him and ask on behalf of others, for His Grace to be granted to them.
From last weeks thread the carryover prayer needs:
Please pray for the family of a pilot working in Papua, Indonesia. He died in a crash last week, leaving behind his wife and five children.

Our beloved Freeper, Trueblackman, is need of our prayers. Lets keep our fellow freeper in our prayers tonight.
I have Ovarian Cancer, stage 3 with luck and go to surgery Monday [surgery was 08/18/08, I think].
It is usually in late stages when diagnosed because of the vague symptoms which I wrote off because I thought I was just getting old.
I will keep you all in mind and if anyone has been thru this, I would appreciate a note. Thank you again!! Pat

Please pray for:
A dear friend of mine who is looking for a job. Please pray that she gets the perfect job for her in God's will very soon.
Also, please pray for a co-worker, Diane, whose son was killed in a motorcycle accident last week, causing her to have to rush home in grief. Please pray for her and her family's comfort and strength.

I learned today that one of my grandsons was rear-ended in an accident yesterday. He was on a Vespa scooter, and was hit by a car.
He is suffering head injuries [wasnt wearing a helmet!], and could use some prayers. Ive been praying for him, but I need some backup.
Thanks to Jesus, he is still alive. Posted by Monkey Face
[And we got this update on Wednesday:] Praise God and His Son!
My grandson is healing quite rapidly, and the head injury has been healed.
He is still a little stiff and sore, and his knee bothers him, but it could have been so much worse! [For all of us with grandkids, we say Thanks be to God our Savior]
If anyone has a prayer request to bring into His presence tonight, please fell free to post it, or if anonymity is necessary, freepmail svcw, greyfoxx39, or MHGinTN and well post it either here or on the Monday Devotional thread tomorrow.
Ping-aling from the little bells call to prayer this evening
mea culpa ... “please fell free to post it” should read “please feel free to post it” [Silly old fingers!]
Thanks, MGH!
I want to thank Jesus Christ for the rapid healing of my grandson who was in a vehicle accident last week. Through the prayers of the ND FReeper thread and other individuals, my grandson is a walking miracle!
Thanks to all of you who said prayers for his recovery!
Jesus LIVES!

I dunno, MHG...”fell” kinda gives an aura of eventual Redemption, yes?

I work for a company that is going through a major downsizing and a very dear friend will have her position eliminated. Also, several others will be laid off.
This is not a life or death matter, but these people’s lives will be changed. Please, if you will, pray that my friend and the others will be okay.
God Bless!
Being able to support yourself is a serious issue. Don’t downplay it.

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 27:4, 5
My friend Brian came to church today, all bound up and in a wheelchair but looking great. We thank God for all He did to get him there. He still has a long way to go. His wife is going to the hospital on the 28th to deliver their baby. Please pray all goes well and there are no complications.
My DIL is doing better as well. Please pray for her to have a grateful heart and to learn to love the Lord with all her heart.
I went to the transplant center Wednesday and it looks like all things are go if a kidney is available. Pray for God’s peace in this and all other situations. Thank you and bless all of you. Maryxxx
