... or very comforting, depending on your prayer life. Our lives are often filled with people or situations that result in worry and concern. After teaching His disciples the Lord's prayer, he said: Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span? He also told them: "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, 16 and I will give you rest.
Those saintly people who have gone before us, have left a legacy of beautiful prayers that are pleasing to our Lord. We should embrace these prayers and make them our own, knowing how appreciated they are by our Lord.
