I want to see you explain to Jesus Calling His Mother The terrible Names that Protestant call her and His POPES..
God the father Thought her a worthy Vessel of Grace to Carry his son to fruition and become man while many Protestants say the opposite who will I FOllow? God and His True Church... not the Protesting one founded by Men and their beliefs that aren’t in The Bible.. “SOLA SCRIPTURA ring a Bell
I never heard Jesus say in the Bible Calvin, Luther, King henry ..etc upon this Rock I build my Church... But reading The Bible will be sufficient! Ignore the Communion of Saints all the Martyrs for the Church.. and The Eucharist etc.. BTW Our Traditions Like The POPE go Back two Millenium so looking through todays Prism is wrong..
The Catholic Church never embraced ABORTION like so many Protestant Churches like the baptist! Homosexuality was Called an abomination By Christ world Reknowned Protestant leaders Like desmond Tutu...gene Robinson say otherwise..
***I want to see you explain to Jesus Calling His Mother The terrible Names that Protestant call her***
And what would those names be? I’ve never heard Mary called any names.
****founded by Men and their beliefs that arent in The Bible.. SOLA SCRIPTURA ring a Bell****
There is more support for Sola Scriptura than Peter being the first Pope.
BTW, where is the word Trinity in the Bible?
Philly: “I want to see you explain to Jesus Calling His Mother The terrible Names that Protestant call her...”
What names are you talking about here? Like the name “Sinner”? I do think most mainline Protestant churches disagree with the Roman Catholic deification of Jesus’s mother. But I am not aware of any name-calling.
Please give examples of these “terrible” names.
I would love to hear this... anyone who calls people terrible names for other than doctrinal reasons (aka wolves, false brothers, false teachers, antichrists), are not being good Christians. Mary, just as any virtuous woman, should not be called anything other than that, a virtuous woman. Any less or more honor than Scripture gives her is wrong.
As for the rest of your obviously heated emotional response, I would just rather ask you to respond to the statements that I have made, not to the terrible Protestants that you have run into in the past. There are terrible people on both sides of the Tiber, and I would rather not be put on that roster, and I hope you would feel likewise.
