1) Those who think the Mormon Church is a bunch of bunk will continue to think so and nothing is going to change their minds.
2) Those who think the Mormon Church is true and follow its teachings will continue to think so and nothing is going to change their minds.
3) People on both sides of the issue will continue to post articles, argue and debate in a futile effort to change the minds of those on the other side.
OK - Let the “flaming” begin -—
4) At least one Mormon will see the light.
It’s happened with other groups here on FR
So everyone should be quiet and not waste their time?
This quote had a special impact on me as it destroyed the false belief ingrained in me of the "Humble Prophet" Joseph Smith.....
"Come on! ye prosecutors! ye false swearers! All hell, boil over! Ye burning mountains, roll down your lava! for I will come out on top at last. I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet...When they can get rid of me, the devil will also go." (History of the Church, Vol. 6, p. 408, 409)
OK - Let the flaming begin -
No flames from me. I was about to give you the example of "SENTINEL" but I scrolled a bit and found that he had already given his powerful testimony. Christians have an obligation to share the good news of Jesus Christ and SENTINEL does it well.
Joeseph Smith nor any other man is neccessary for salvation, the false prophet Smith is a hinderance.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father but by me." John 14:6.
There ARE lurkers whose lives have been affected by the truth of the Gospel vs. the truth of Mormonism. That’s why we keep doing this.
