I have read many visions of heaven and a few of hell. This sounds like something I have seen before, but can’t quite place it. I think it was in the book “Father Elijah”, when the main character saw his dead wife and unborn daughter in Heaven.
Many visits to Heaven include such contacts, imho.
They are . . . at least the convincing ones, to me, are
quite similar yet often unique in some way or other.

Yes. Really the choice isn’t heaven or hell. That isn’t even a choice, who would pick hell unless they were tricked into it. The choice is Jesus or not Jesus.
Heaven and Hell might be metaphors to help us glimpse something we can’t comprehend now. I can’t comprehend eternity. We are more than physically trapped in time. We are mentally trapped too.
I don’t recall ever saying that Fatima did not occur.
And, for most of my 61 years, I even assumed God had something to do with it.
I no longer believe God/Holy Spirit were the agents producing the Fatima phenomena.
100% of those who have had bona fide Heavenly visits
are
100% emphatically convinced
that Heaven is far more tangibly REAL
FAR MORE A “PLACE” than this earth is.
They consider the notion that Heaven is ‘merely’ a metaphor to be outrageously . . . inaccurate, false, dumb.

I think checking such reports with Scripture does that.
However, with SCRIPTURE
NOT
with folks ASSUMPTIONS, preconcieved interpretations, wholesale biases
ABOUT Scripture.
The Pharisees had Scripture memorized and still didn’t have a clue about what Scripture meant.
Further, a Spirit-filled Believer walking Biblically close to God and led of His Spirit
receives a check
or a confirming resonance in his spirit from Holy Spirit confirming authentic things of all types—including Heavenly visits.
