This one rings true, to me, as well as Jesse Duplantis' and Baxter's visits do.

There's a wealth of such visitations at the parent website homepage:

http://www.divinerevelations.info/

The 7 youths visit to hell is extremely sobering. The Calvinists would likely rail at it but I find it quite Biblical and sobering. It's available here:

http://www.spiritlessons.com/Documents/7_Jovenes/English_7_Jovenes_Hell.htm

Choo Thomas' visit is discussed here:

http://www.divinerevelations.info/hisr_video_transcript.htm

Where she notes that she's been told that less than 10% of Christians are ready for The Rapture.

The END TIMES VISION of a girl named Unity from India is available here:

http://www.divinerevelations.info/Documents/Unitys_Vision/English_Unitys_Vision.htm

Many other visitations and visions are available at the homepage. Quite a resource. Impressive.

Blessings, Quix

Before we can have a serious debate about what Heaven is like you will have to first forget everything Hollywood taught you about Heaven.

Harps, white robes, and never-ending worship services represent many believers perception of Heaven, because that is what movies, cartoons, and paintings have showed us what it is like. On the other hand, many without Christ think Hell is going to be one big party. Both perceptions are dead wrong, and not even close to reality.

The Heaven John wrote about in the Bible is so full of wonders and mysteries that in our wildest dreams we could not imagine it. Certainly Heaven contains many surprises which we will never be able to comprehend in this life. And it will not be boring.
Think back to the one single best day of your whole life. Maybe it was your wedding, the birth of your child, your first trip to Disneyland, the anniversary cruise with your spouse, whatever. Now imagine each day in Heaven being that multiplied 100-fold, and the number of those days will be endless. That is what I firmly believe Heaven will be like. Is it no wonder the Creator of it will be worshiped by all the heavenly host?

I heard it said once that, - “as a Christian, the day I die will be the best day I’ve ever lived. But it won’t be the best I will ever live.”

Well put.

The 7 youths visit to hell is the most horrific I’ve ever read.

I loved the part about the heavenly visit where they got out in the River of Life and one picked up a fish that was quite comfortable with being picked up.

Wonderful.

All these visions make heaven seems so contained - wall, and gates, rooms in mansions, etc. To me heaven means the total lack of walls and gaits - complete freedom.

But the Lord Jesus didn't want to look at him. Jesus simply turned his back on him.

This is not the Jesus I know.

Not to be a stick in the mud or anything, but the picture of the youths shows that four of the seven are young ladies. Would the group really have been referred to as “My sons” by our Lord?

Its hard for us mortal man to envision the massiveness of Heaven. You will not feel contained, I can assure you. Also remember that God also promised to Create a New Earth. There will be animals, there will be lakes, streams, mountains, forest, the new Eden.

Christ Himself indicated He was going to prepare MANSIONS.

You can construe that to be ethereal nothingness, if you wish.

I’ll take Him at His Word.

So, your reality is that anytime Jesus makes a tour-guiding trip into Hell,

HE AUTOMATICALLY

MUST/HAS TO

EMPTY IT???

Doesn’t sound Biblical, to me.

I wasn’t there.

Quibble away.

I haven’t felt very successful at trying to read 100% of Jesus’ mind or intent.

Yes, that is why these "vision" stories seem contrived to me.

Indeed.

When Jesse was on his 5 hour visit to Heaven . . . he was noting the similarities . . . mountains, streams, snow even though it wasn’t cold . . .

And Abraham or the angel noted that earth was made according to God’s tastes, too.

It’s just that Heaven is perfect. Earth is not.

One character—a retired missionary to the Amazon then 80 years old . . . had prayed 7 years to be able to visit Heaven and come back and tell about it.

Claimed to have spent 7.5 earth days in Heaven. Claimed it was a sphere a million miles in diameter IIRC, the landscape was on the inside of the sphere with God in the center. Haven’t read any confirmation of that. But it was an interesing narrative. Haven’t been able to track it down and I loaned someone my tapes and lost track of both the person and the tapes.

It will be WONDERFUL AND BEYOND WONDERFUL. That’s good enough for me.

Just to be with Jesus wherever is enough.

I never read of any such visits where the visitors felt at all contained.

The expansiveness of Heaven is frequently mentioned.

Methinks your assumptions are flawed.

As a psychologist who’s listened to thousands of hours of narration about personal life experiences . . .

the visitation narratives do NOT sound contrived to me, at all.

Certainly you can claim to be a better psychologist than I am.

I’ve been directed to “quibble”, as have you. The Bereans were deemed noble for they examined the scriptures to see if what PAUL said was true, so should we to see if what the Columbian youths say is true. Just following orders, Quix. It is too dangerous to accept everything extra-biblical attributed to our Lord at face value.

Luke 16:27"He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, 28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'

29"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'

30" 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'

31"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "

How do you reconcile this with the jesus of the stories who command the kids to warn the world?

Sounds like your assumption is that God

COULD NOT

change the rules in the END TIMES.

The Scriptures referred to a particular case which could have had those parameters for any number of reasons.

Putting God in a tidy little box has never worked well for me.

Enjoy the try. . . . though it strikes me as more than a bit . . . cheeky to imagine the loftiness to be able to do that.

I’m all for checking things out with Scripture and with Holy Spirit.

I’m not for beng blindly stubbornly resistent to whatever God may be trying to communicate to me by WHATEVER route.

He’s God. I’m not.
