"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, "Matt 18:20 (ND Devotional 6/16/08)

"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst" Matthew 18:20

For some time, through FReepmail, several FReepers have provided each other with a way to share prayer requests and praises. Now that the Non-denominational category has been established, we are offering a weekly thread in which posts of your requests and praises are welcome.

Anyone, regardless of denomination, is welcome to bring their concerns here.

The one thing that we hope to establish here, is that at a set time on Sunday evening, 11:00 p.m. in the Eastern time zone, 10:00 p.m. Central time, 9:00 p.m. Mountain time, and 8:00 p.m. Pacific time, we will as a group, lift these concerns up in prayer. Individual prayer at any time is, of course, encouraged.

If anyone desires to post an "anonymous" request, just word it in a manner such as: " Please lift up my prayer (or praise) for a personal concern." Additional anonymity can be gained by sending a request or praise to svcw via FReepmail.

In the future, the weekly thread will be posted on Monday mornings in order for the concerns to be gathered through the week before they are compiled for the Sunday evening group prayer. This list will be available to all by afternoon on Sunday.

If anyone has any additional ideas for this thread, or anyone would like to volunteer to help keep this thread going, please let us know.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you again for the wonderful response to last nights internet prayer session.

Thank You Lord for answering request and receiving praises.

As I was sitting out on the deck this AM (5 to be exact) I marveled at the sun rise, and Psalm 19 came to mind, "The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands....." Yet, was saddened that so many do not know Him and His glory. And ask the question how could they not, it is so clear.

My prayer for this time will be to be an example of Christ that others may see Him in me and ask "what is it that you have that I need".

I once heard a preacher say the worse thing someone could say to you was, "huh I did not know you were a Christian", I pray that is never asked of me.

So everyone keep track of requests and praises and let me know, and see you again next Sunday evening.

I didn't comment, but I read through these each week and send up prayers or praise.

This is a wonderful idea.

Thank you.
I am so glad that so many are participating.
Many FR are like you, they read and pray without commenting.
Each person has their very own style of celebration.

An update on Amanda, the twenty-year-old with auto immune disease that we prayed for the first evening of our prayer circle. She is still hanging on.

In a message today from her friend: "I just wanted to touch base with you. Amazingly enough, Amanda is still holding on. Still very ill and the outcome does not look promising. However, the doctors think she may be strong enough to try something else. Thank you and the rest for their prayers. You know, as I do, they are helping."

Please keep Amanda on the prayer list.

I will be taking my Royal Ranger outpost to camp this week to our district campout. We work to bring boys to the Lord throughout the year, but there is something special when we can get them into the woods for a few days, where they can see the examples of Christian life, and see that Christianity isn’t boring either. Keep all the boys in your prayers for safety and to listen to the call of Christ on their lives.

I had what seemed like an allergic reaction last night, at least my throat felt tight enough that I used my Epi-Pen and took a trip to the ER. We’re (the doctors and I) are still trying to nail this down.

Again, healing would be the best.

Thank you all for your continued prayers.

My immediate family and myself will be traveling next week and weekend to have a memorial for my Mother.

Please keep us all in your prayers that we may have a safe journey, and that the rattlesnakes will stay away.

Seriously, the grave site in the CO mountains where we will be has a sign up, "Beware of rattlesnakes."

I don't like vipers!

Will do.
CO is a beautiful place and quite majestic.

May your memorial not be sad about loss but a celebration of life.

Good Sunday Morning

For some reason I am not able to get the “key word search” to work properly today so at this point I do not have a praise/prayer this for this evening.

However, that does not mean we should not gather together this evening for prayer and celebration of God's Glory and Grace.

Remember: 8pdt, 9mdt, 10cdt, 11edt is the target time for corporate prayer and praise.

Thank you all again for participation in this glorious adventure of gathering together for His Glory.

Eph 1:1 ...to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Eph 1:2 Grace [be] to you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph 1:3 ¶ Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ:

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Eph 1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Eph 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Eph 1:15 ¶ Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

Eph 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Eph 1:19 And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places],

Eph 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Eph 1:22 And hath put all [things] under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church,

Eph 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Ephesians 1:1b-23

In the lovely Name that is above ALL Names, Jesus...

Amen..

It is another Sunday evening were we gather together to pray. We not only gather to lift others up for the many needs in this community but around the country and world but for our selves.

We fall down, we lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus The greatness of mercy and love at the feet of Jesus

And we cry holy, holy, holy

And we cry holy, holy, holy

And we cry holy, holy, holy is the Lamb

Lord we lift up those requests tonight for healing and restoration.

Lord we lift up those who are in a spiritual vacuum return to them the joy of their Salvation.

Lord we lift we lift those who fight demons of alcohol and drugs.

Lord we ask in Your humble Name the grace for completion of these requests.

Lord we praise Your name tonight for the many blessings that You have already bestowed upon us.

Lord we praise your name for those who have already claimed and taken hold of their healing and restoration.

Lord we praise You for our Salvation.

Lord we Praise You for restoring us to You.

Thank you Lord Thank you Lord Thank you Lord.

We praise Your Hold Name.
