Father God, we thank you for the grace with which you see us every day, for we are so unworthy of life and all that you bless us with. Father, we thank you for sending your Son to die in our stead. Father, today we ask that you will be with those who are fathers and doing the job as a single parent (especially those in situations like Lillianna Mroz and her daddy). Father bless them, giving them wisdom, strength and peace knowing that you are guiding them in raising their children unto you. Give them comfort when they are reminded daily of their spouse missing from their lives. Hold them up, Father, on the days when they feel spent, and ready to give up. Bring a support system along side of them to help them, and family in the Lord who will encourage them. For those fathers who are post-abortives, Lord, help them to know you love them, there is forgiveness and healing in Christ, and to come to you. If they have already taken that step, Father, protect them from the arrows of doubt that Satan so easily will send their way. Give them the assurance of forgiveness and your love. For those men, Father, who have still been running from the past, help them to face it with the women in their lives, coming to you for full healing and restoration. Father God, we thank you for your restoring love and healing balm. May it flow forth on fathers everywhere on this Father's Day. IN Jesus Name, Amen!
