For some time, through FReepmail, several FReepers have provided each other with a way to share prayer requests and praises.
Now that the Non-denominational category has been established, we are offering a weekly thread in which posts of your requests and praises are welcome.
Anyone, regardless of denomination, is welcome to bring their concerns here.
The one thing that we hope to establish here, is that at a set time on Sunday evening, 11:00 p.m. in the Eastern time zone, 10:00 p.m. Central time, 9:00 p.m. Mountain time, and 8:00 p.m. Pacific time, we will as a group, lift these concerns up in prayer. Individual prayer at any time is, of course, encouraged.
If anyone desires to post an "anonymous" request, just word it in a manner such as: " Please lift up my prayer (or praise) for a personal concern." Additional anonymity can be gained by sending a request or praise to svcw via FReepmail.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for gathering in our midst with us so that we may petition You for Your Grace to these in need of Your Presence, Your healing, Your peace. Grant these requests as means to amplify Your Salvation to us, to these in need, and those spoken of in need of Your Grace in Salvation of spirit. It is all about You, Lord. Thank You.
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His Power that is at work within us, to Him be Glory in this church and in Christ Jesus, throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.
Prayers lifted for all.
Psa 1:1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psa 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psa 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:1-3
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Exodus 23:25
But He [was] wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
Can my prayer request be added?
My father-in-law has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is undergoing steroid treatment and radiation will be used in the coming weeks. He is eighty-one years old, so the concern is that his treatment will not be able to be as agressive as they would like in other cases.
As a positive, though, he is in relatively good health and generally walks three miles a day. His doctors were pleased to hear that he is so active.
Please pray for my father-in-law’s treatment and my dear mother-in-law as they live through the uncertainty of cancer and treatment. They are a beautiful couple who have placed their faith in God as He guides them through this time.
Thank you.
I join in urgent prayer for this couple. And in join in the other prayers on this thread as well.
Please see #49 ... my goof.
Ahhhh, thanks for the heads up!
Be lifted up.
Cancer can be a scary word to hear, thank You Lord for modern medicine.
We lift up this couple who love You and worship you in their lives. That will continue to trust and worship You.
We lift up the rest of the family as they deal with not only their own pain but helping their loved one through their pain.
We lift all of them up tonight for healing and worship.
Thank You Lord.
In prayer, in Christ’s Holy Name, for the FReeper intentions on this thread, and for the needs unspoken...
Yes
We ARE healed..
In the lovely Name of Jesus
:)
26But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Thank you.
Svcw, thank you for leading this prayer circle. I love your prayers, they touch my heart. Thank God for the Prayer Partners who join together to praise God each week. May our petitions find favor in His eyes. Amen.
