This morning’s sermon at church was for me. The pastor mentioned that there had been a lot of attacks on the church body in physical afflictions. Then the youth pastor prayed and prayed for things like “cancer, allergies, and other things”.
You could have knocked me over with a feather. Nobody ever prays for allergies like that, mentioning them in the same sentence as something like cancer.
Then the pastor said he was all set to preach a message on missions but the Lord told him to preach on the healing of Nahum’s leprosy.
I felt pretty bad this morning and only briefly considered not going but felt compelled to. Now I know why. I sure am glad I didn’t miss it.
Not healed yet but God certainly had that for me, although I’m sure others felt the same way today.
You would be surprised a the number of Christians who believe and have faith if somneone has cancer, but will hesitate to pray for healing from the common cold or flu..
I guess they think it would bother God to ask for healing..
He is so busy..
:)
I am going to repeat that: by His stripes WE ARE healed. I agree with you tonight that you ARE HEALED. Praise to the Lord, you are lifted up tonight!
Oh, and..
Be healed in the Name of Jesus..
