Doc Eck's statement somehow seems to insinuate that the Pope's tendency to kiss the soil and kiss a gift is the same as the Pope making a religious proclamation is such an astonishing bit of sheer intentional misdirection, it take's one's breath away. It's been awhile since I've seen a RC defend JPII's loss of sanity and grace which he displayed when he willfully kissed the Koran, gift or not.
If someone "gifted" you with a Taliban rifle that had the blood of an American soldier on it, would you kiss it?

If someone gave you an apple and said it was an orange, would you kiss it?
How silly. you can't compare the two actions. Just as there was a silly comparison first, now this one is an even more astonishing bit of sheer intentional misdirection and this take's one's breath away even more
You outdo yourselve with sheer intentional misdirections, doc!!!
Congratulations!!

Good thing JPII is gone and no longer running our church. I will be the first to say that JPII while wonderfully spiritual, concentrated too much on others and should have paid more attention to his flock. Now B16 is doing a great job.
When he watched out for us he was wonderful. And I’m Polish.
