Unfortunately, our previous nondenominational caucus got deleted for unknown reasons.
To clarify for all... before I get accused of belonging to a denomination, I departed the Free Methodist Church in Sept, where I pastored, and have not yet found a new church.
Unable to participate in any caucus threads, I think there needs to be a place for non denominational Christians
I would like to use this caucus to begin accumulating names for a religion forum ping list, to be used for non denominational articles of interest. It would also be used in the new format of thread designations.
Rev, I’m not on your list. Will you add me?
gladly
“dude, this is the new church - casual Sunday, golf shirts and cargo shorts..”
Great, but what do the men wear?
“there a version of Peace in the Valley by Red Foley that you have to hear, with a very young Chet Atkins on guitar”
I think I have it but “the one whose name is only whispered” won’t let me play it in the house and it’s on one of those 78s. Hard to fit it in the cd player in the car.
sign me up.
I’m an episca-metha-bapta-costal myself.
Our church and several others in the area are under the umbrella of Elim Bible Fellowship from Elim Bible Institute in Lima, NY. They’re an old time pentecostal/charismatic school and it’s a great place to go. Several of our kids have gone there (not MY kids).
Nor did I know the differences that separate us spiritually. Whew. FR has taught me a lot and given me a lot to pray about.

Totally off topic. But where does one finds this sauce?
I hope you don’t mind a question. Is Calvary Chapel the church that emerged from the Jesus Movement?
You thread has been changed from “caucus” to “open”.
after yesterdays admonishment, I started a respectable thread and conversation has been consistent with caucus behavior
Are non denominational Christians going to be allowed thier own caucus under the new rules?
have I offended you personally in some way ?
If the thread can not remain caucus, please lock it
have a great evening
ping 72 & 73 - if you want a caucus designation available for nondenominational Christians, now is the time to speak up, as the thread has been changed to open
What is the reason?
Once you call “open” the discussions become a free for all.
Is there some real reason why non-denoms cannot have a caucus? Or should I ask what is the real reason?
Focusing on the core issues which all Christians share seems like a great idea to me.
amen to the Independant Evangelical/Charismatic Christian ping list
