I agree. Respect of Mary comes from respect for Jesus in a Jo Mama sort of way. We love you and yo mama. As a Catholic I was only ever taught that there is one god. Its in the creed that we recite every week. The only thing about Mary is that she was his mother. We respect his mother. Is there a bible that does not have Mary below Jesus on the cross. Does he not speak to her last. Does she not first along with the other Mary, find Jesus gone from the tomb. What is wrong with respect for Mary. She was important to him, so she is important to us. But she is not a god. She is not part of a god. Catholics are clear on this.
I love Our Lady. She is HIS mom. He loved her. He kept the 10 commandments more perfectly than human creature ever could: "Honor thy Father and thy Mother". He honored his mother. We should do the same. I am sure it makes Our Lord happy.

declare accurately, emphatically, that
NO RC worships Mary.

It boggles my mind that RC’s are not more logically alert to such facts.
HUMANS ARE INHERENTLY IDOLATROUS. That’s just a fact.
It’s a fact in every Protty congregation as well as every RC congregation. Naysaying doesn’t remove it.
It takes Biblical focus on God and dogged ruthlessness with one’s self as well as Holy Spirit’s help with the Sword of The Spirit to keep one’s self free from idolatry.

Sorry to butt in but:
One God, Three Persons. An ‘aspect’ is not a separate subject but only a different perspective on a single subject. That both makes God subject to limitation and reduces Him to Monophysitism.
Only by asserting that the Three are distinguishable as separate identities within the Godhead can we even begin to maintain both monotheism and the Godhead of Christ.
