Have you counted the number of Southern Baptist bashes when Huckabee was in the running.

My recollection is that there was criticism of the way Huckabee acted in public regarding religion, but not of the Southern Baptist religion itself.

I don't recall seeing any postings which specifically dissed the doctrine and traditions of the Southern Baptist church, although I did see hundreds of postings which openly trashed the faith and traditions of the Mormon church.

I am a devout Baptist myself, and I remain totally embarassed at many on FR who continue to ridicule and deride the traditions and doctine of the Mormon church.

No one has absolute knowledge of religious truth. No one can claim that THEY are the absolute correct interpreters of the Holy Bible.

Yet many try to disrespect good and decent men like Mitt Romney via smarmy attacks on things which happened in the Mormon faith some 150 years ago.

Yeah, they even bashed John Hagee. Mormons need to take the chip off of their shoulder, and send their young boys off the bikes, with short sleeves, ties...and a TITLE ELDER, to help out in the Cyclone of Myanmar.... Joesph Smith was a psycho....all of this FLDS stuff sent me to the library to get the REST OF THE STORY about the many wives of Joseph Smith, wanting people to embrace the PRINCIPLE, bringing all of those cosmic souls to earth inn Mormon bodies..
