You are an interesting poster, you know? I spent a few minutes looking up your recent posts and you dont seem interested in anything except being an anti-mormon. Why is that? Why do you seem to hate us so much?

I would bet that you better start off by giving a lot of money to the Mormon Church. Sorry I can't help out any further.

Therefore, Mormons believe the entire human family was formed from eternal intelligence which became, through a process that has not been clearly revealed, the literal spirit children of our Father in heaven.Ok, if this is Mormon Doctrine as the Author purports it to be, then is there anyone now who doubts that...

The Mormon Church teaches a plurality of Gods. They believe that God the Father (Elohim) was once a man on a separate world who attained godhood. He then had many spirit children with his wives, the oldest one being Jesus.
According to LDS beliefs, we were all Elohims spirit children before our carnal existence. Therefore, Jesus is our eldest brother. Jesus was one of a very few who attained godhood before living an earthly life.
Is this true?

So it is with the Latter-day Saints. We see such scriptural statements about the "everlasting" and "unchanging" God as an indication of God's perfect and unchanging moral character, as well as God's eternity relative to men. God is spoken of as the "only true God," because in relation to us this is perfectly true. Given this Hebrew mindset, it is easy to see how Latter-day Saints can accept the biblical statements about God and also believe that God was once a man, having a Father Himself. OK, is this CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE? That God was once a man having a Father himself and his father having a father and his father having a father ad infinitum?
Well the cat's out of the bag Seven. Gordon Hinckley denied that Mormons teach this. I sure looks like they teach it, it's all part of their doctrine.
Mormon Apostle Orson Pratt: Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, page 345:
"If we should take a million of worlds like this and number their particles, we should find that there are more Gods than there are particles of matter in those worlds."

Ah jeez the last page of Revelations argument. That one never gets old does it.
The warning in Revelations does not apply to the Bible, nor does it apply to adding or subtracting other scriptures to the canonized set of scriptures.
What is "Revelations"?

Opposing the ex nihilo creation, mormonism squares solidly with Plato and neoPlatoism which deny ex nihilo creation too.Yup. Joseph Smith and his followers essentially took scissors & clipped out Hebrews 11:3 from "Scripture": 3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Instead, Smith taught the "New Age" type of belief that spirits & intelligences were from eternity past...therefore, these entities were around well before their god was even a "man"...

Re: #28...OK, then why did Joseph Smith add dozens of words to the book of Revelation?
