Nothing heated here, just facts. I’m not the least bit angry or upset. As far as trashing a Caucused, thread … there should not be anything as a caucused thread … my whole argument.

And I will continue to “trash” caucused treads every time I can produce a valid argument against them. Might get me banned, that is the price I’m willing to pay for free speech, an that is what this site is supposed to be all about.

Gads. I’m glad to see him gone. Even though I no longer live in his diocese, it’s a relief. He proved to be a cowardly sellout to the homosexual lobby, and refused to celebrate the opening Mass at the Human Life International World Congress in St. Paul some years ago. But that’s ok, because Cardinal Arinze stepped in and took up the slack.

This thread could have had some information had it not been for the trolls. Harry Flynn has been a major embarrassment to the Church for years, a pro-gay leftist modernist who came out of a crop of such appointments years ago, and it might have been interesting to discuss his replacement. But thanks to the usual crowd, I think there is exactly one post in this thread that relates to the actual topic of the thread.

Well, who wouldn’t rather see Cardinal Arinze anyway!

Best wishes to the snowbound folks in Minn. The new Archbishop *has* to be an improvement!

No "might" to it. Ignoring the moderator will get you banned. This is your final warning. Stay off Catholic Caucus threads.

Fichori, listen up. If you are not Catholic then do not post on Catholic Caucus threads. Click on my profile page for more guidelines to the Religion Forum.

One wonders if it’s possible to have a Catholic thread so innocuous that the anti-Catholics would ignore it. An Archbishop was replaced, is all. One of my Town Councillors is moving away and will be replaced, too. This requires a religious assault?

Good thing you said that, because I was about to go toe to toe with these geniuses who obviously know better than billions of faithful over thousands of years what the Church is.

And I'm sure I'm no match for such intellectual giants.

Is Archbishop Neinstedt fairly orthodox? Is he very “Catholic?” Seems that some Bishops aren’t so Catholic. :-(

Nonetheless, prayers for the new Archbishop.

When I signed up for posting privileges here on FR, Nowhere did I read anything about Caucus threads.

Prior to this, I had no idea what a Caucus thread was.

As I made it clear, I was NOT trying to hijack OR trash a reserved thread.

I just didn't know; please accept my apologies.

Religion Moderator: Where can we discus this further?

Thanks for understanding.

Being polite on a caucus thread is a choice, too. If you’d posted, “Oh, how interesting!” nobody would have said a thing.

Neinstedt is apparently the one who tried to scrub up the troublesome New Ulm diocese after all the damage that was done.

Kind of reminds me of MN native Bishop Carlson who is our shepherd here in Saginaw.

When I moved to Minnesota last year I was not sure what Diocese I was going to be in. I had heard about this Bishop and was greatly relieved that my town is under the Winona Diocese. Prayers for the new Bishop.

Saw Arinze at Irving a few weeks ago. Fabulous guy. He would have been a great pope.

I agree. Not that we don’t have a great Pope now :-).
