Oddly enough, the present-day Nestorians are not Nestorian in the heretical sense, and there is some controversy (based on a document written by Nestorius back-in-the-day but brought to light fairly recently) as to whether Nestorius was a Nestorian!

See, this bidness of getting into a huge kerfuffle about ambiguous wording is very... er... traditional.

And by the way, Shakespeare’s plays were written by a different guy with the same name.

Thoroughly ... it wasn't just with the Nestorians (of which Nestorious may not have been one) ... The Arians raised the same problem ... Homoousios vs Homoiousios ... one iota is the difference between the Orthodox Faith and heresy.
