"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ." (Col. 2:16,17)

I rest my case. Judging people on the holidays they celebrate is, according to God's Word, legalism defined.

Thanks, I was looking for that. Add Romans 14:5-11.

If you read verse 8 you will see that the Apostle is speaking of "Man Made" traditions....."DOGMA".

I rest my case. Judging people on the holidays they celebrate is, according to God's Word, legalism defined.

If you use your head you will see that the Apostle is therefore telling the folks to ignore any criticism they encounter for observing God's Holy Sabbaths and Feast Days!

Paul, being an Apostle to the Gentiles did not just speak to Jews. Why do you think he would even bother telling these folks in Colosse about these things if they did not observe them previously??????? He is instructing them (folks of Colosse) in their observance of God's Holy Sabbaths and Festivals!

Is this saying NOT to observe God's holy days? Or is it saying don't let anyone judge you in HOW you are keeping God's holy days?
