This is a wise admonishment to all those who the Catholic Church.
I feel disturbed and disappointed to use the word hate, so in my aversion to it I omitted it from this sentence.
I meant to say:
This is a wise admonishment to all those who hate the Catholic Church.
Thanks for the ping!
Excellent work on this thread, Dr E!
I am amazed at the Father’s longsuffering with Rome. Still, like Isreal and Judah, I think that his patience has limits. Despite his providential mercies Rome still lacks repentance. He gave us the printing press which allowed men to see the ignominies of Rome and still they do not repent. He continues to expose her ignominies through new providential mediums such as television and the internet and still she refuses to repent. No doubt at some point the recorded ignominies locked up at the Vatican will be brought to light.
Lord have mercy!
“For how long, Oh Lord?”
Sadly many just repeat the lies or half truths of the past because it reinforces their preciously held opinions.
Mel
Prove it's a smear. Show it's a lie and maybe you can convince me otherwise. If I showed you CIA documents you would still just say it's a lie because it hits at your very core of your identity. It violates the trust you had in your church.
Let me help you. Can you show me an official Vatican document or statement that has condemned Germany between 1939 and 44?
Yeah, because the CIA has never been wrong.
You step up here, make an outrageous and slanderous claim and then demand I prove it’s not true.
Sure thing Chester. Riiiiight.
Ask your self. How did a lot of Nazis get to Argentina? How was that?
You're still hung up on a photo because you did read my whole post and that's all you have. Besides, there isn't just one photo but hundreds showing Catholic clergy with Nazis. Like Cardinal Stepinac with Pavelic in his Nazi uniform.
You wrote:
“You haven’t answered my precise information as to the whereabouts of Nazi Pavelic and how he got to Argentina.”
I didn’t know I was supposed to. Last I heard Pavelic was in a hole, dead and buried. Do you have different information?
“How did he get his papers? Who protected him?
Ask your self. How did a lot of Nazis get to Argentina? How was that?”
Simple. A lot of people - including Croatian and German Catholics - helped them. And this has exactly what to do with Martin Luther?
“You’re still hung up on a photo because you did read my whole post and that’s all you have.”
What? That doesn’t even make sense. I read your whole post and that’s all I have? You never made an argument by posting a photo. You still aren’t. Again, what do your pictures have to do with anything that is the subject of this thread? Nothing really.
“Besides, there isn’t just one photo but hundreds showing Catholic clergy with Nazis.”
I’m sure there is. Why wouldn’t there be? After all the Nazis ran the most populous state in Central Europe so I would expect there to be plenty of photos of clergy of all types with Nazi officials. I see American clergy with Democrats all the time. And your point is what?
“Like Cardinal Stepinac with Pavelic in his Nazi uniform.”
Pavelic was never a Nazi. He was a facist, and a racist, but he was not German and never a member of the German Nazi party. He had his own uniform for his own party.
And what does any of that have to do with Luther?
Can you actually attempt to make an argument or what?
Can you try?
Amen to that, mel.
Of course not. RC’s and EO’s never do.
Oh, they were saluting the flag? OOOOKKKKAAAAYYYYY.
I know, they were just saluting the flag....
They were all under the spell of this very charismatic but demonically controlled occultish Hitler. I don’t give any of them credit for what they did, protestant OR Catholic. Just don’t pretend catholics were so innocent. NO ONE was. They were all under a demonic deception. ALL of Germany was. That’s why they kept quiet about the holocaust.
That's the thing with posting a photo with no context. You can just let your imagination run wild. If you want to imagine they're saluting a flag, fine. At least that is much less devious than what others are imagining.
