Ah. Yes, it is. It was also a critical factor in my not voting for Romney. Some might consider that flip-flopping on my part, I suppose, since I was also pro-choice (or pro-murder, if you prefer) at one time. My mom was 15 when I was born, turned 16 the next month, and had a very hard life because of it. When I was much younger, I thought she should have had me aborted. When she was dying of cancer a few years ago, we got to spend much time talking together, and she maintained that abortion had never been an option to her, although it was offered. She said that being our mother (I also have a couple of other brothers) was the best part of her life, and that it made all the rest worth while. Now that I have children of my own, I understand her completely on that subject. My oldest is 16, now, and my conversion on the subject of abortion was made several years before his birth, after another of a string of miscarriages my wife suffered before his birth.
