Mother Angelica will surely miss them, and her other Spiritual Daughters who have gone to Portsmouth, OH, and to France to restore some Poor Clares Monasteries.
I am certainly not forgetting her Phoenix Phive who are building a monastery, and establishing a foundation there.
Now, with Archbishop Jose Gomez extending an invitation to Mother’s Nuns to establish a foundation in San Antonio, and permission being granted by the Vatican, I have to say:
“Mother Angelica, you raised your girls right”
**from Our Lady of the Angels Monastery in Hanceville, Alabama. **
Hope you make the connection with a famous nun!

I thought there had been another group. Planning, planning, planning.
so did their families -- Thank You!!
Mother Angelica has something special there in Alabama. Young Catholic women from all over the United States (including one recently from my home state of MI) are joining up. It is a rather remarkable thing when a young woman decides to give herself to Christ and not only that, join an order all the way across the country, and with real habits.
It seems only right that Mother Angelica spread the wealth, and send her Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration all over the United States and the world.
We have Poor Clares here in my community, and God Bless them for their service to Christ, but they do not wear habits like Mother Angelica’s Poor Clares, and they are not nearly as many in number.

And so did you! Do you think your daughter will be one of the ones coming to San Antonio? Or I guess I should say “going back home” to Our Lady of the Atonement...
