~”‘Retranslated’? “~

Umm... Perhaps my language skills are escaping me. What do you call it when something is translated again?

Fortunately, Joseph had revelation to help him this time. Perhaps, given that fact, a better term might be “restoration,” or “uncorruption,” or “clean up of the hell-of-a-hash Christianity has made of scripture over the last two millenia-tion?”

How, do you think, might one go about conjugating that last verb beyond its gerund form?

There are LOTS of people today that 'hear from GOD'.

Voices in the head that tell them to do thus and so...

They are so convincing they can get OTHERS to follow them; even after they are dead themselves.

Nice try, but your 'retranslated' is a farsical term given that the only thing Smith had when he tried to rewrite the Bible to fabricate prophecies of his 'coming in these latter days' was his peepstone divination rock. Smith had no Greek or Hebrew or even Latin texts such as the modern real translators use. But then you have swallowed the conman koolaid fully so that means nothing to you. It might help you to do a word study of what God says about those using divination.

On second thought, you'd just twist Bible teaching to suit your service to the father of lies so don't do it.
