You are not alone
33 bishop's stand with Bishop Schofield and Diocese of San Joaquin
Dear Bishop John-David,
We, Episcopal colleagues from across the Anglican Communion and across the world, write to salute you on the courageous decision of the Diocesan Convention of San Joaquin to take leave of The Episcopal Church and to align with the Province of the Southern Cone. We know that decision was to a large extent the result of your tenacity and faithful leadership, and for that we give thanks to God.
It has been said that you are isolated and alone. We want you and the world to know that in this decision for the faith once delivered to the saints, we stand with you and beside you.
May Christ abundantly bless you and your diocese with all the gifts of the Spirit and with joy in believing.
Yours in Christ,

I see +Iker, +Duncan, and +Beckwith on that list. Are they going to follow suit?
I truly have no idea; I haven’t really tuned back into the fray since Lent ended — and I find it difficult to do so.
Ilker will, and probably Duncan as well. Beckwith keeps a lower profile, but this is encouraging.
Yes, it’s good to see that SOME bishops still understand the responsibility that comes with that title!

The American conservative bishops aren't exactly leading their flocks-they would have shown leadership if they had acted 3 years ago, and there wouldn't be a need for a double handful of newly appointed missionary bishops in this country.
And, there were over a dozen counted as conservative a few years ago; now the list appears to be down to 4 or 5. The rest are going along with the Schori-Beers-Robinson team.
Wouldn’t the church be better served if they were to stand up to the hedonist team of Schori-Beers-Robinson and send THEM packing?
How about a ground swell of faithful Episcipalians setting this right!
Maybe this could be accomplished in time for Robinson to have his June wedding in front of the Justice of the Peace, so as not to further scandalize the Episcipal Church!
I'm encouraged that a few folks have the discernment to see the difference between truth and apostasy.
Wouldnt the church be better served if they were to stand up to the hedonist team of Schori-Beers-Robinson and send THEM packing?
Absent divine intervention, it would never happen. They might have had a chance a couple of generations ago - they didn't take it. Now the post-Christians are so entrenched in power, it would be another 50 years before they get careless enough to allow a concerted move. And by then, the Episcopal church in its present form won't exist. (The Baptists had a similar chance a generation ago, and took it - they managed to buy themselves another decade or two before the liberals take another solid shot at them, but they must continue to be on their guard.)
How about a ground swell of faithful Episcipalians setting this right!
The conservatives have been largely stripped of power and marginilized. Recently, a conservative was elected Bishop in South Carolina. He received the required number of assents from the other dioceses. Schori threw out his election. While the folks in South Carolina prevailed in a second try, it was a clear warning that conservatives could no longer expect due process in the ECUSA.
