**Now he reveals himself to a young girl as God in a way beyond the thought and imagininations of the Patriarchs, Moses, the Prophets, the sages or the many other great women, of Israel.**

And Mary believed and said “Yes!”

If only all could believe like this.

The great saints get close. For some us, it remains a flickering light. We are drawn to it like moth to a candle flame. Still only she was totally enveloped by it while she lived.

Your (Protestant) sister in Christ joins you in meditating upon and in celebrating the Magnificat of Mary, and the One through whom God brought His Son into this world.

Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah of Israel, a LIGHT to the gentiles, Mighty God, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Lion of the tribe of Juday, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, our Savior, Redeemer, Gracious Friend, the Good Shepherd who leaves the flock of 99 to seek and to save that one lost “sheep”.

Praise God that Jesus Christ came into the world specifically to seek and to save that which was lost!

The Lord Jesus Christ has been actively seeking the “Lost.” May many who feel LOST turn around and embrace HIM, their Savior, their Redeemer, their Mighty God, their gracious but magnificent King....this Christmas!
