(This doesnt necessarily apply to the fruitcake, but you can participate in the thanksgiving without that!) Hey!!! My wife makes the BEST fruitcake. I love the stuff. She usually makes two and saves one for the 4th of July. (Fruitcakes lasts forever you know.)

Thanks for the article, GC. I had a conversation just yesterday with someone who doesn't celebrate. I have no issue with their convictions however, he was a tad bit judgemental with those who do.

I employ several JW’s and their smugness about Christmas inspires me to turn up the carols and put more lights on the office Christmas tree. As for my very reformed OPC church we plan to have a Christmas Eve service tonight where I will be reading from Luke( not Calvins Institutes) and singing hymns with great alacrity. Merry Christmas to all my brothers in Christ here be they reformed or otherwise.
