Um, I think I’m missing the joke... if there was suppose to be one.

Each year I choose who will get presents. I only give gifts to people who believe I am real. How do they believe? They are the ones I show myself to. So both their belief in me and their gifts come from my hand. They can't earn it. Let me see if I have got this straight. Those who receive his gifts were only predestined to receive them earlier this year. He couldn't care less about who is naughty or nice. And he has no self control over his own free will to have cookies and milk.
I keep those who believe in me so that they never stop believing.
I don't think that is working out very well for Santa.
