Southern Baptists have been shaped by many streams of faith and practice, including Calvinism, said David Dockery, president of Union University in Jackson, Tenn. If the SBC would purge itself of the influence of Finnyism things would be much better. Sooooo, perhaps the resurgence of Calvinism is worrying the Finnyists?
