I think we can all say it — especially since the Immaculate Conception is the patroness of the United States. We need her help!
Thanks you for this post, I printed out all of the prayers and the litany, so that my husband and I can pray them starting tomorrow.
As a new Catholic, I am often unaware of opportunities such as this, and I thank you for posting it!
bump....thanks
Thank you! I’m going to print it out so that our family can say it together at dinner time. I really appreciate it!
Thank you! Joining in for this, and thanks again for the reminder.
Here in Chicago, we have a Novena to the Immaculate Conception at St. Mary of the Angels Church, 1850 N. Hermitage (off the Kennedy at Armitage) starting November 30 and continuing until December 8.
Mass is at 7:15 every evening (each Mass will focus on a different part of the Litany). Confessions start half an hour before each Mass.
Any freepers in Chicago are more than welcome to join us!
thank you!
Thanks for saying so. Yes, there is a lot to do during Advent. I am posting a couple other threads too.
What a great idea to have FReepers in Chicago join you. Let us know how it all goes.
Joining you in praying this Novena. Thanks for stopping by. Blessings to all of you in Advent.
Thanks for positng, I’m in. Happy feast day of Saint Andrew.
O most Holy Virgin, who was pleasing to the Lord and became His mother, immaculate in body and spirit, in faith and in love, look kindly on me as I implore your powerful intercession. O most Holy Mother, who by your blessed Immaculate Conception, from the first moment of your conception did crush the head of the enemy, receive our prayers as we implore you to present at the throne of God the favor we now request...
(State your intention here...)
O Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your Divine Son while upon this earth; you have the same influence now in heaven. Pray for us and obtain for us from him the granting of my petition if it be the Divine Will.
Amen.
that is a very beatiful church and a fantastic parish, God bless the priests there.
Praying with you.
Thanks for the ping.
Thank you!
