THANKS FOR BEING AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT I WAS SAYING ABOUT PEOPLE NOT KNOWING WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUR! If there is a Heavenly Mother and if Jesus is the Son of God, then would Jesus be the Son of the Heavenly Mother as well?
Was Jesus a product of some kind of union between the Heavenly Father and the Heavenly Mother?

Good questions but Mormons don't like talking about her, or should I say Her.

Good questions but Mormons don't like talking about her, or should I say Her.They know that the answer to both of those questions is "yes", but they will never publicly admit it. Kinda like those secret temple oaths.

“As you are I once was, As I am you shall become.”
Straight out of both Mormon doctrine and Battlestar Galactica which was based on Mormon doctrine.

It was not referencing an individual Freeper - it was not making it personal.
Ok, I get it: GROUP mindreading is ok then!
To: FastCoyote
Then bloody well vote for him. Im just telling you a lot of staunch conservatives wont vote for him under any circumstance. And all because of theological hangups that have NOTHING to do with being president. 239 posted on 11/28/2007 5:25:17 AM CST by PJ-Comix (Join the DUmmie FUnnies PING List for the FUNNIEST Blog on the Web)

We belong to an ORGANIZATION - it says so in the URL --> lds.ORG; therefore you MUST belong to one too!

That is damned offensive! And just think; one of the other hive members has made a comment about not being able to laugh at one's self is some kind of problem.

Well, SOME have an "insiders" lock on the "kingdom".....
"No man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith. From the day that the Priesthood was taken from the earth to the winding up scene of all things, every man and woman must have the certificate of Joseph Smith, junior, as a passport to their entrance into the mansion where God and Christ are" (Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 7, p. 289).

***Still, no one has yet answered what is in it for me,***
Thank you for illustrating at a very fundamental level that Mormon’s are not Christian. Christianity is not about “what’s in it for me.”
***As you teach,I am predestined to go where I go, right, nothing I do will change where I go, right.***
If the Lord knows your future and that future includes that you cease exaltation immediately upon death, what can you possibly do to change that knowledge in God? The answer, of course, is nothing. The only difference between the Lord predestining and simply knowing a future is that it makes the Lord nothing but a spectator to human suffering.

Lets see, would that be the one that is a methodist organization, assemblies of god or church of god or one of the independents? Who owns your church building? Would that be the congregation or the preacher himself? Does your minister receive a salary or a cut of the offerings? OMM..you need to look up "non-denominational".
