I'll share my experience with the Book of Mormon. Yes, I have tested Moroni 10:3-7

3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
6 And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.
7 And ye may know that he is, by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore I would exhort you that ye deny not the power of God; for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men, the same today and tomorrow, and forever.

I was born into an LDS family. My father's lineage in the LDS church goes back to the days of Joseph Smith. My mother is a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she was baptized when she was 15 years old (after searching for a year for a church that she felt was right.) I was raised a believer in the LDS church. I know I lived on my parents testimonies and other family members testimonies until my mid-twenties when I truly tested Moroni and the promise. I know the gospel is true. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and saw Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I believe in the restored gospel in these latter days. I believe in latter-day revelation and modern prophets. I have studied these things out in my mind and have prayed about them. And I have received the answer from the whisperings of the Spirit. I cannot deny that which I know is true.

Thanks Utah Girl, I love your history, mine will in all likely hood Link to Governor Boggs (My mom won't let us close the link until after she dies...) I am the first member of my immediate family to have BIC by my name in the church records (Basically Born a member for hose who don't know), but when we did our genealogy we found we were related to Bruce R McConkie.

You CANNOT know' it; but only believe it to be so.

Even SMITH did NOT name GOD in his vision:

The Bible had already clearly warned about things of this sort.

If this description does NOT match the biblical 'Angel of Light' then what ever would??
