One of sons’ birthday is today, so we often turn all the lights out and take him out to dinner. However, this year the children really wanted costumes and trick-or-treating.

Although I respect the opinions of those who choose not to participate in Hallowe’en activities at all, I also don’t think it’s un-Christian to dress up. We don’t allow unpleasant or distasteful costumes. I’ve got some literary characters, some Stargate characters, a Roman empress, and a boy who’s Invisible.
