He is an anti-Catholic apologist. Since Beckwith announced his reversion he has been losing his mind about it. He comes across more like a scorned lover. It leads me to believe that he either has an unnatural obsession with Catholicism and an unnatural attraction to Beckwith.
You are talking about the Dr James White at Alpha and Omega Ministries, right? If so, you and I must be either reading different blogs, or you have an axe to grind. I have found his articles to be reasoned and balanced. Perhaps the fact that he has blistered a number of so-called Roman Catholic apologists who have now resorted to ad hominem attacks rather dealing with the issues might be swaying your judgment of him. Either way, your inuendos about unnatural attraction are a bit low.
