I have been studying Bible prophecy for more than 30 years. I knew when the time came near someone would say exactly what you’ve just said — that this particular prophecy was just conveniently being mentioned.
Believe me...those of who who believe prophecy have known this was coming for a long, long time. No one, especially not Lindsay, is just dropping a convenient prophecy.
The Lord gave prophecy to warn — when you see these things happening, understand that it was mentioned long ago by the Lord for YOUR benefit.
Yeah, so have I. So have dozens of other theologians who I respect very much. The thing is, these dozens of respected Pastors and theologians have dozens of takes on Bible prophecy and each one can totally document their position with scripture. There are also hundreds of hacks who selectively interpret prophecy literally and figuratively, as needed, to get where they wanted to be in the first place. So hey, maybe Hal is right this time. Maybe all of those dozens of failed predictions of his were just a fluke and this time he's right on the money. But I'm not going to hold my breath.
