Resty, the video is informative and interesting!... The essence of the presentation is that DNA is helping to collate fragment portions of the scrolls. Many pieces of scrolls are now to be sorted into categories based upon DNA which shows the parchments are from the same animal thus the pieces belong together but still have to be put together for text, like a puzzle once they are placed into a grouping.

BTW, the video is dec`idedly non-religious in nature, merely presenting how DNA science is aiding in collating fragmentary pieces of the scrolls.

As a follow up to this, about 5 years ago, I did a story on a BYU Prof. working at the BYU Center in Jerusalem who spent 8 hours a day with Dead Sea Scroll fragments under a microscope trying to put them together. They were on loan to him for this project. There are many others like him doing the same thing. I think it is a great and important work!
