O/C Caucus ping. Comments? +Symeon the New Theolgian is a particularly interesting Orthodox saint. He is something of a preview for +Gregory Palamas. He wrote for monks in the monastery of which he was the abbot. When reading his writings, that’s important to remember.

Comments?

**Thus he who dedicates himself and all the care to God and the spiritual father, by real obedience is no longer living his own life where he does his own wishes, but is free from any struggle of the world or his body.**

Our priest basically preached on this today. Abandoning our will to the will of the Father, and dedicating our will, our time and our actions and asking God for His resources to use in our daily encounters with the world, the devil and the self-will that we want to use rather than God’s will.
