Thank you for your respect!
My best friend from high school is LDS and he gave me the crash course, but who will take Faust’s place as 2nd Counselor? Has Hinckley made an annoucement to that effect yet? Thanks.
No announcement has been made yet. This is my opinion only, but since it is about 6 weeks to October General Conference, I think they will wait and announce a new general authority then, and the counselor also to take President Faust’s place. I’ll let you know if I hear anything. :)
Thank you for posting this. I checked BYU TV, but didn’t see a listing. Probably because it wasn’t originally scheduled programming and whatever was scheduled is what was listed. Watching it right now.
Some of it pre empted Acts to Rev and another one pre empted Education.
Thank you UG for answering GOP!:)
Thanks to both of ya. :)
That is a beautiful song. I didn’t realize that President Faust had written the lyrics. Powerful words to live by.
I spent a while trying to find the lyrics online last night, but I was unsuccessful. It would be cool if someone could find them and post them.
This is the Christ
They heard His voice, a voice so mild.
It pierced them through and made their souls to quake.
They saw Him come, a man in white,
The Savior, who had suffered for their sake.
They felt the wounds in hands and side,
And each could testify:
Chorus:
This is the Christ.
This is the Christ, the holy Son of God,
Our Savior, Lord, Redeemer of mankind.
This is the Christ, the Healer of our souls,
Who ransomed us with love divine.
I read His words, the words He prayed
While bearing sorrow in Gethsemane.
I feel His love, the price He paid.
How many drops of blood were spilled for me?
With Saints of old in joyful cry
I too can testify:
Chorus:
This is the Christ.
This is the Christ, the holy Son of God,
Our Savior, Lord, Redeemer of mankind.
This is the Christ, the Healer of our souls,
Who ransomed us with love divine.
Thank you! Good stuff...
Thank you Spiff I am glad you got it from the BYU TV some times You Tube quality is lacking.
That was Beautiful and...FM
I wasn’t able to watch the funeral yesterday. But I did see some excerpts on the news last night. I’d like to watch it via BYU-TV online, so tonight I will hunt it down. :)
Just click the photos I have link it I guess it was not clear!
