As I have always thought, it is doubtful that Romney's faith is the big deal his detractors believe it is and may even in the long run, be a PLUS!

As per your request, RG! : )
A huge ping for our man Mitt, the one candidate with the Midas touch!

This has to be the most ingenuous poll ever taken. How can someone else determine how “religious” one is? Romney and others have been put before a gaggle of what are probably mostly atheists and been allowed to determine what they perceive their religious status to be.
This speaks volumes about Time's complete lack of understanding of religion and God.

Huckabee’s actually a preacher. Plus, in addition to Christianity, he has embraced the “healthy lifestyle” religion, which can be just as evangelical. Romney has Michigan roots, IO wonder if he’s an Amway distributor, too? That would push him ahead.

"On the downside, though, Romney is nowhere near the position President Bush polled at in 2004 when 70 percent of voters surveyed said he was a man of strong religious faith"The same kinds of polls were taken during president Bushes campaign. Were they too disingenous?

This poll was about the respondents’ belief/perception, not whether they (the candidates) are actually religious or not. Justified or not, people usually do have their perception about a person’s religiosity. Mitt, for whatever reasons, give the impression that he is a religious man.

...a new poll shows that voters believe he is more religious than any of the other contenders out there.
THESE guys are 'believed' to be even MORE 'religious'!!

They are ALWAYS shouting - "GOD is Great" in their native tongue: 'Allah Akbar'.
Still, his supporters are thrilled with the fact that Romney is viewed as a religious person.
Has he said what his policy would be, dealing with them folks above?

Huckabee, as much as many of us may like him, isn’t a top tier candidate and hasn’t a prayer.

Mormons = Khomeini, uh, huh, /sarcasm.
Your hatred of Mormons has rendered you totally and completely irrational. No person of sound mind is going to take you seriously. But keep posting. You do wonders for the Romney campaign.

If you read the whole poll, the same people that said Romney was the most religious Republican picked Osama Obama as the most religious Demonrat.
A Muslim and a Mormon. I wonder why the pollsters picked a group that would choose anyone but a Christian?
