I was watching EWTN’s special last night on the Latin Mass. When one of the priests mentioned that TLM’s format is set and that there cannot be any deviation from it, I was struck with the thought of how politcally incorrect this will be...What about the feelings of the poor altar girls, the tamborine players, the drummers, and et al? It’s amazing to see policy decisions being made without regard to political correctness.

Did you see the call from the guitar player, asking what his role would be in TLM?

The priest from the panel said, “Get a missal and participate, but there is no room for guitars at the TLM!”

The guitar player got no encouragement nor the lady who was concerned about extra ordinaries on the altar. Altar girls a thing of the past?

Now we will see who comes first to the priest, the Holy Father or socials and friends in the Church hall?
