I reviewed the Religion Moderators page regarding the rules, but didnt see any reference to forbidding the quoting of a earlier post on a different thread by a Freeper, particularly if it is salient to the current discussion.FR Help Page
"Don't jump threads - If you get involved in an argument in one thread, it's considered poor manners to restart the previous argument in the middle of an unrelated thread."

I don’t think so if one would like clarification on something it was not an arguement it was to inquire more understanding.
Now you would not like the LDS going around and hold a thougtht that was incorrect would you?

Thank you for the link. I wasn’t restarting a previous argument. I don’t think the subject matter from the earlier thread can be legitimately considered similar to the subject matter of the current thread. As I stated, I was quoting the earlier post for clarification on the “anti-mormonism” vs. “anti-mormon” distinction made by CC and not to rehash our earlier thread regarding voting/civil rights issues.
However, as I previously stated, regardless of the rules, CC has requested I not quote earlier posts by her from different threads. I have apologized and will not do so again.

"Don't jump threads - If you get involved in an argument in one thread, it's considered poor manners to restart the previous argument in the middle of an unrelated thread." Is this considered a 'rule'?
