The Mormon “eternal” God was once a man, meaning he was born, meaning he’s not eternal.

I had this discussion earlier, Temporal mechanics says that if a being (God) exists outside of time, then there is never a "Time" when he did not exists because he can travel to that point easier than I can go to the Kitchen. God is eternal, and was at some point a mortal, if you can't understand that, fine, but don't say I can't believe what I do.

God is eternal

God was once a man.

Both are true, both are Mormon Belief.

You redefine the word eternal to mean “not eternal” and then get on your high horse.

Truth is, our job is to put ourselves in better alignment with it. I am doing my best, but I have had your perspective, and honestly, I feel I have grown to know more than that. You will now probably talk about my horse, just keep it nice, he has feelings too.

You have been sucked into a cult. Do you really think I’m the one lying here?

I prefer to think that you are doing the best you can with what you have and that it's a shame you will not accept more, or even Pray to find out if there is more. Why on earth would you behave like the Israelites in the desert who upon being bitten by the fiery serpents would not look at the serpent on a pole Moses put up for them to be cured by? Look to God, ask him, do not go by the strength of your own knowledge for that way dies death. Pray, why on earth or in heaven would God not answer such a request?

Then your god could have died.

Mine can't and never was any danger of doing so.
