Well, I’ve had it up to here with the constant lies and misrepresentations of my church.

I detect huffiness!

Almost time to stalk off the field due to lack of worthy opponents!

No, it is you who is misrepresenting what “eternal” means.

The Clinton defense: "It depends on what 'is' is."

... the Bible then is also polytheistic since it teaches the existence of other gods ...

Ed; you are right!

FALSE ones!

Sorry, my God is not that cruel and unjust.

Sadly... I believe you.

And your point is?

Heck, anyone can do a Bible search using “hell” but instead of shallowly reading the Scriptures and then ASSUMING what you’ve been taught about hell is correct, why don’t you actually THINK things through for a change?

1. Did Christ EVER give a literal interpretation to one of his parables? EVER? No. They always represented something. Why then ASSUME the story of Lazarus and the rich man’s hell is also literal?

2. Do you even know what the Hebrew and Greeks words for hell mean or where they come from? I suggest you first find out before displaying your great wisdom to the public.

3. How does eternal damnation square with a loving, righteous God? Everyone will condemn a human judge for handing down the death penalty for minor offenses like jay walking; how much more for a so-called loving, merciful, and just God? THINK! You’re turning God into a hideous monster!

The Spirit of God Satan can be found in people of all religions and isn’t an exclusive possession of Christians Mormons.

Not smug at all, nope.

Like I’ve said repeatedly, if God allowed me to be deceived by Satan when I went to him in sincere prayer; he then is not worthy of my worship and I will accuse him of lying to me at Judgment Day.

Good luck with THAT 'defense'!

GOD 'allows' folks to be 'deceived' by Satan all the TIME!!

Even your own organization's publications say that!

See Elsie? Another display of simply not getting it.

You said:
BoM is true because of Burning in my bosom
Burning in my bosom is telling me the ‘truth’ because the BoM says God is answering my prayers

1. I never said I got “burning in my bosom” telling me the BoM is true. So, right there you’re screwed.
2. The BoM does NOT say truth can be discerned by a “burning in my bosom.”

Ergo, YOU FAILED in your premise.

Keep it up though, perhaps next time you’ll find that magic post that makes all your dreams come true!

You anti-Mormons with your smug arrogance and constant lies and misrepresentations about my church are a drain on the soul and you deserve what you get when the time comes.

HMMmmm...

http://scriptures.lds.org/en/js_h/1/19#19
17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself adelivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I bsaw two cPersonages, whose brightness and dglory defy all description, estanding above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My fBeloved gSon. Hear Him!
18 My object in going to ainquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all awrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those bprofessors were all ccorrupt; that: “they ddraw near to me with their lips, but their ehearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the fcommandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the gpower thereof.”
20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time. When I came to myself again, I found myself alying on my back, looking up into heaven. When the light had departed, I had no strength; but soon recovering in some degree, I went home. And as I leaned up to the fireplace, bmother inquired what the matter was. I replied, “Never mind, all is well—I am well enough off.” I then said to my mother, “I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.”

Does this mean when ELSIE comes up for temple baptism, you'd not say it?  (You DO have a recommend; don't you?)

??? Elsie, Elsie, Elsie, why be so shallow? It’s heartbreaking to see you struggle so. Still, at least you’re trying, so keep it up buckaroo!

Just because a church is false and lacks genuine authority does NOT mean all its adherents are evil and will be punished for all eternity. This isn’t “chang[ing my] attitude about the ‘other’ Christians” since I’ve never thought otherwise.

It’s nice to see you’re still misrepresenting my church and my words ... keep it up since liars will receive their just rewards. Is this another case of “Lying for the Lord”? Jesus must be so proud of you!

Well, since you’re [presumably] a woman, I can’t be baptized on your behalf, but I’m sure my beautiful wife will be willing if we’re still around a hundred years after your death (since that’s the duration for non-relatives).

You will still have your free agency after death and can accept our gift for you or not. No one will force you, not even God. And do hope you will, but sadly realize people’s personalities and attitudes don’t change after death (Alma 34:34).

Ditto to you. I’m glad I participated here today - I won’t again for a very long while since it’s a waste of time and effort. You anti-Mormons with your smug arrogance and constant lies and misrepresentations about my church are a drain on the soul and you deserve what you get when the time comes.

Christ is definitely not pleased when his so-called followers behave in such a manner.

I’m also glad to see there’s still no substance to your arguments - perhaps someone, someday will follow our exchanges and see who between us faced the facts without engaging in logical fallacies.

I’m outta here!

I am always amazed at the smugness of anti-Mormons - you get a little knowledge of the Bible and suddenly you’re experts and unteachable.

Does this mean that those with a LOT of bible knowledge come around to believe as a Mormon finally?

Might I suggest you actually use a reputable Bible Commentary?

Would that give results similar to a creed?
