LOL!!! This sure has brought out the anti-Catholics once again. I’m betting that I would hear anti-Catholic preaching from xzins.....any bets?

Actually, in my preaching you’d hear an awful lot about the bible. If any instance of doctrine came up that I disagreed with, then I’d mention that disagreement and the reasons for it.

That would not be limited to disagreements with the rcc, but could include any number of teachings from other denominations.

Since I treat them all equally, to include any apostates within my own denomination, I’d say that means I am not anti-rcc.

The RCC has shown time and again that any criticism of its practices will be viewed as a criticism of individuals.

Not a very efficient method of debate. In fact, it practically ends the debate before it's even begun.

The article that heads this thread is a terrific example of a man listing very specific points of departure he has with the RCC. Each point he supports with Scripture.

Unlike the thread about James White's sister, an RC convert who managed to say nothing specific in her entire discourse, but spent the bulk of her essay once again simply complaining "these guys are anti-Catholic."
