Yer honor, I present the entire old & new testaments. In them there is not one word about the assumption of Mary, her immaculate conception, or her coredemption.Your own personal interpretation of scripture is not proof. So sorry.
Let me ask you again, though, did you tell young Catholic soldiers that you were certain their faith is a fraud, or did you conceal from them your contempt for their faith?

Old_Mil: (A few rotten to the core ones as well: Episcopalians, United Methodists for instance.)
xzins: I am an ordained United Methodist elder (minister.) I am currently lead pastor at our rural methodist church.
Ooooh...ouch.
An ordained UM elder/minister he (or she, or it) may be, but if he's a Christian he'll either get his church out of Methodism or get his glutes out of his church. Like Peggy Noonan mused about the GOP, "it's time. It's more than time."

And I probably should apologize for that dig - it's a bit unfair since neither the Episcopalians nor the Methodists have as of yet attempted to ordain non-humans (though from what I understand, they are welcome in the congregation).

How about Luther ? He was driven off and chased and desired dead. Not one word there on his politics or doctrine? Pardon me, perhaps I misunderstood you.
Pray tell WHY was he (as you claim) driven off and chased and desired dead?

Martin Luther’s treatment of the Jews is interesting. In his early ministry, he had great hopes for their conversion. I believe he was surprised when they didn’t respond to the Reformation’s attempt at total faithfulness to scripture. I also believe in his later life he became morose about them, and began viewing them from the standpoint of Christ’s pronouncement: “you will not see me again until you say ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
His LATER anti-semitism is on record. Personally, I think it needs to be balanced with his earlier pro-semitism. Combining the 2, one sees it as DOCTRINAL and not as racial bigotry.
Luther was well aware that Jesus and the early church were Jewish.
I might add that I’ve visited many of the cathedrals throughout Germany and Austria, and that the paintings of biblical scenes about the life of Christ depict Jews as a sub-human species.

I am fairly upfront about issues of unfaithfulness in our umc denomination. Are you the same about such issues in your rcc denomination?

Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio, contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium. Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur: tuque, Princeps militiae coelestis, Satanam aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo, divina virtute, in infernum detrude.
Amen.

First of all, Co-Redemption is NOT Catholic Doctrine, so stop insinuating it is.
Second, if you had ANY discernment, why would you NOT believe that the Mother of God was conceived with NO sin on her soul? That is just elementary......why would GOD be born to a sinner?
Thirdly, why would Jesus want His Mother's body on earth? It's really no mystery that Jesus LOVED His mother. You dissing of her is Probably NOT pleasing to Him....just a guess since I assume you a lowly guy would want the same for your mother if you had the power.

Of course. And when were the scenes painted? Lots of them were after the Reformation.
To blame Hitler on the Catholics is just bad history. Europe was anti-Semitic and parts still are and THAT isn’t because of the Catholics either.
