Don’t be. It’s something that anyone can do and at their own pace. Get a tape of it and see how it works but find one that is fairly secular.

Nothing else new....I was on a cruise for the last week, so I didn’t pursue it.....the only good thing is, he’s TEMPORARY!

hes TEMPORARY! That's a relief! Let the folks in his next parish ask him - he's probably "temporary" everywhere.

You KNEW you were in dangerI would characterize it as: I knew going in that anything this guy was teaching was completely useless and I knew that "meditation" without prayer is a waste of time, so I chose not to waste that time.

would you say your class is more of a pilates class then? No, not at all.
I avoid Pilates because, in essence, it came from a diagnostic point of view and I'm not equipped for that. I leave that for the medical field.

Wonder if she can do anything about my priest that WEARS AN EARRING!!!!!Only ONE thing to do for him: give him your very BEST single left-over gold earrings, posts, etc....you know, the ones left over from the ones you've lost.
You might even give him a nice diamond, emerald, ruby post for his ordination date, birthday or Christmas. You can suggest color coding the post with the days of the Church year.
This might let him know, in a very subtle way, that his earring is causing you to focus on his earlobe, not on what he says of God.

not sure what you mean, but ok.
I like pilates. It can be boring if it’s ALL you do, but it serves its purpose.

Not sure what I mean? Sounded extremely clear to me.
Perhaps you don't know the origins of Pilates. I do.

Anything that might potentially erode Big Religion's profit margins routinely gets labeled "occult". ;)Isn't it amazing how much materialistic Randian social Darwinists object to profit when it goes to "organized religion?"

Although Barukh Ellison's site should be perused critically and some of his stuff taken with a grain of salt, there is some material on yoga from a Jewish/Noachide perspective in
this issue of his online newsletter.
