2 Cor. 3: 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

1 John 3: 2 Beloved, we are God's children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

Aslo, form today's readings
7 If you had known me, you would without doubt have known my Father also: and from henceforth you shall know him. And you have seen him.

...

12 ...Amen, amen, I say to you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do: and greater than these shall he do.

(John 14)

If I’m not mistaken, that is one of the readings tomorrow!

I like your translation better, but here is the Second Reading for tomorrow!

Reading II
1 Jn 3:1-2

Beloved:
See what love the Father has bestowed on us
that we may be called the children of God.
Yet so we are.
The reason the world does not know us
is that it did not know him.
Beloved, we are God's children now;
what we shall be has not yet been revealed.
We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him,
for we shall see him as he is.
