They keep trying and trying, you have to give them that.

They are reaching.

Ruth and Naomi? Naomi was Ruth’s mother-in-law and Ruth vowed to follow her wherever she would go. There isn’t a single passage in the Old Testament that remotely hints that their relationship was some sick, lesbian love affair that these defilers of the Word try to claim.

David and Jonathan? Oh, this is rich. David was a man after God’s heart and he followed the Law ... most of the time. No man that’s light in the loafers is going to kill another man for that man’s WOMAN, like David killed Uriah for Bathsheba. Jonathan himself was married with children for David showed kindness to Jonathan’s disabled heir. David and Jonathan had a strong relationship that Jonathan was willing to defy his father, the king to protect David. This relationship was an example of friendship for centuries until the impure came along and distorted that relationship for its own self-absorbed desires.

And since when is a eunuch a sodomite? He doesn’t even have the equipment to commit sodomy! Talk about reaching for Pluto!

Fact is they cannot find one single male/male or female/female “committed relationship” (as they define it) that is blessed in the Bible. God called man with woman and woman with man “good” and He blessed them. Where does God bless “Adam and Steve” or “Madam and Eve”? Nowhere!

Not disagreeing with you a bit, but I have always wondered why the solo "Whither Thou Goest" based on that passage used to be a standard for Wedding services.
